Yes, most fishing charter operators are booked 2 to 3 week or even up to 1 year in advance. Book your trip early to avoid any disappointment. Planning your trip early is also another good way to get the best date with good tide and getting yourself prepared for your fishing trip.
A confirmation email will be sent to your email address upon confirmation. Your bookings will only be confirmed upon the first payment/ deposit of your trip.
If your payment is successful but you have yet to receive an email from us, please contact our customer service officer and they will be able to assist you further.
Most fishing charters are customizable to your own preferred choice of fishing date or itinerary. However, prices may differ from the standard packages. Please contact our customer service officer if you wish to customize your own fishing package.
Due to safety precaution, there is a minimum age restriction for some charters. To find out if your child legible to go on a charter, look for the age restriction tag under ‘’Policies’’ on the charter listing to ensure your selected charter is suitable for kids.
Tag for age restrictions:
· Children who are under 6 years old are not allowed on any fishing charter due to safety reasons.
· Children aged 6 to 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent for all trips.
· Children aged 13 to 18 years old must have a consent form signed by his or her parent.
It is compulsory for all guest to have their travel insurance covered during the entire period with DMC Fishing. Guest are required to submit a proof of coverage to us at least 1 week prior to your departure date. Otherwise, DMC Fishing reserves the rights to invalidate the entire booking and any prior payments will be forfeited without replacement.
You may pay for your booking with a credit card at the check-out page after you have selected your preferred charter/ package.
Our credit card option accepts Visa & Mastercard.
If you wish to redeem your promo code, please enter the promo code at the check-out page of your selected charter/ package before making your payment.
All payments for trips booked with DMC Fishing must be made in United States Dollars (USD).
Yes, there will be a 3% processing fee for customers who choose to pay via credit card option.
In an event where you wish to cancel you booking with us, please refer to the cancellation charges below.
Cancellation charge (Period before departure in which you notify us)
· 150 days or more: Free Postponement of dates
· 31 – 149 days: 50% of trip selling price forfeited
· 30 days or less: 100% of trip selling price forfeited
DMC Fishing provides suitable tackle rental based on your fishing location. Look under your preferred charter packages to find out more on tackle rental pricing.
Besides fishing tours, DMC Fishing also provides transport service for your own fishing trip, shopping or sightseeing at Malaysia. Select your preferred date and location under ‘’Malaysia Transport’’ and you are good to go!
DMC Fishing reserves the right to assign any fishing guide on any trip. Request from customers will be considered but not necessarily agreed. Deposit refund or postponement as a result of fishing guide changed will not be entertained.
Depending on your nationality, you may require a visa when entering certain countries. If you require a travel visa during your booking with us, you may wish to apply it yourself. Otherwise, DMC Fishing provides application of travel visa at additional cost. Please contact our customer service if you would like us to apply your travel visa for you.
