Day out for Giant Snakeheads
Decided to try freshwater fishing in Malaysia as I browsing thru DMC's website. Sepayang stood out as I stumble across those catches of beautiful Giant Snakeads
Contacted my friend James and he responsed. I then sent DMC a message on their Facebook page and their customer service officer contacted me about 5 mins later. Confirmed the trip and was waiting for the day to come! Everything is well arrange before hand!
One day before the trip, their staff Choo contacted me to check that I have prepared everything I will need for the trip. Choo came to pick us up from our house at 4am and followed by a nice breakfast at JB before making our way to Sepayang.
Upon arriving, our skipper was there waiting for us when we arrivied as we set up our tackle for our first day of Snakehead hunting. The skipper is so experience, in order not to spooked the fish.. they even make extra effort to off the engine and paddle our boat when they locate any surface action. So that its easier for us to cast our lure to the spot. Caught my first toman of the day within 20 casts. After a couple of miss the catch rate slow down till last afternoon.
During sunset, the place is simply breath taking, my friend James took out his camera as he was into photography. My friend James got a nice 8lbs toman on rubber follow by another smaller one on jump frog. Trip ended at abt 5.30pm choo pick us up to a home stay which we requested to wash ourself up before going for dinner at rompin before making our way back.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend DMC fishing to all anglers out there if you would like to experience top class fishing experience!
