Terms & Conditions

These are terms and conditions of DMC Fishing Pte Ltd. Please contact our customer service office if you have any enquires. The following terms and conditions stated below come in effect once we have accepted and/or confirmed your booking.

General:

·         All DMC Fishing Charters are subject to suitable weather conditions. DMC Fishing reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure should there be any unforeseen bad weather with safety issues.  Under such circumstances, the trip may be postponed with a mutually agreed date within 12 months.  If the trip cannot be fulfilled within 12 months, it will be deemed as full cancellation.

·         In an instance where the weather turns bad half-way during the trip, it is up to the Captain’s discretion to return back to shore or cut the trip short due to safety reasons.  Under such circumstances, no discount nor refund will be given.

·         All GPS are banned from any DMC Fishing boats and may be confiscated and returned at the end of the trip. 

·         It is compulsory for all guests to purchase their own travel insurance during the entire fishing period with DMC Fishing.

·          It is DMC Fishing company policy requirement that guests who make their own travel insurance coverage must submit a proof of coverage to DMC Fishing at least 1 week prior to departure date, with the policy covering the entire period.  Otherwise, DMC Fishing reserves the right to invalidate the entire booking and any prior payments will be forfeited without replacement. 

·         All guests are responsible for their own personal valuables and belongings throughout the trip. DMC Fishing will not be responsible for any loss or damages as a result.

·         DMC Fishing reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions without prior notice.

Bookings and Payments:

·         All booking of fishing trip requires a 50% deposit fee to secure your booking. Dates/ Trip will only be booked and blocked once deposit is received. Full payment of 100% is required at time of booking for any trip costs at SGD 300 or below.

·         The remaining balance of 50% payment (for trips above SGD 300) and any other miscellaneous cost must be paid within 30 calendar days prior to departure date.

·         Prices are subjected to change without notice but any committed trips with deposit paid will be honored per contract.

Cancellations and Refunds:

·         In an event where you wish to cancel you booking with us, please refer to the cancellation charges below.

    Cancellation charge (Period before departure in which you notify us)

    ·          150 days or more: Free Postponement of dates

    ·          31 – 149 days: 50% of trip selling price forfeited

    ·          30 days or less: 100% of trip selling price forfeited

·         In an event where the trip is cancelled or postponed by DMC Fishing, we will not be held liable for any travel cost, accommodation, meals or any other costs that customer may have incurred. Any costs that is incurred as a result will need to be borne by customer and will be deducted from any deposit that has already been made. Otherwise, customer is expected to make payment in full under such circumstances.

·         If a guest becomes unwell and requests to be returned back to shore, there shall be no refund given. It is up to the Captain’s discretion whether or not to return to port/shore.

·         There will be strictly no refund for any deposits/payment in any case of a late cancellation or no-show.

Safety Briefing

·         Safety Briefing will be given on board before departure

·         All guest must declare any existing medical conditions or medication prior to booking and departure.

·         All DMC Fishing guides and Captains have the rights to ask any guest to put on a life jacket at any point of time during fishing.

·         All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult

Customer Behavior

·         It is required that all guest behave in a safe and respectful manner to all DMC Fishing personnel and our property.

·         Guest shall be liable for replacement or repair to any loss or damage to our equipment or vessel due to negligence or unruly behavior.

·         DMC Fishing reserves the right to cancel a trip without refund if unruly or unsafe behavior is displayed.
