Pearl Lake

The silver rocket, yellow cheek is a species under the carp family. But unlike most carps that are herbivorous, the yellow cheek is carnivorous. It can grow up to 2m long in length and can weigh over 50kg. With the ability to grow into such mass plus the streamlined body, and its over-sized forked caudal tail, the yellow cheek carp is one of the fastest and most fercious species which makes it the apex predator of the rivers and dams in China. It is therefore one of the most wanted trophy fish for many anglers. 

At certain months of the year, be rewarded with a bonus catch of another rare fish in the Pearl Lake, that is the Mandarin Perch. Other species that can be found in this lake is the Seabass and Sky Gazer.

Fishing season for Yellow Cheek fishing is from April to end November. 

Rod Ratings: PE1.5 - 3 or, PE 3 - 6. Depending on the size of the lures. 

Reel Size: 4000 - 5000 Spinning, 200 - 400 BaitCasting (Daiwa Size)

Line Rating: 20 to 60lbs Braided line

Leader Rating: 30 to 80lbs Fluorocarbon Line 

Lures: Soft Plastics, Minnows and Top-Water from 90mm to 250mm

- 4.9meter Bass Boat for Fishing ( 2 to a boat ) 

- Accommodation for 3 Nights. 

- Land transfer to hotel from Shanghai Airport to Pearl Lake. Throughout your stay

- All 3 meals per day with mineral water (Chinese cuisine) 

Flight Details: Guests will land at Shanghai International Pudong Airport at their own cost the night before fishing day and travel back to the airport on the following day after the end of scheduled fishing day. 

Land Transport: Two-way transport from Shanghai International Airport to Pearl Lake is inclusive. (Approx. 3 Hours)

                         Should guests opt for another pick-up location, an advanced notification has to be provided with additional costs to be advised as applicable. Only 1 pick up/ drop off                               timing per group will be scheduled so if guests arrive at different arrival times, transport will be arranged based on the latest arrival time of the guests. 

Accommodation is a local hotel which is situated next to the lakeside. 

All 3 meals with mineral water at Pearl Lake is included during fishing days. However, only Chinese cuisine is available. Guests are free to travel out of the hotel at their own cost if they choose to. All transport and meals will be at their own cost if guests choose not to consume the provided food included in the package and no partial and or full refund will be provided or subsidized. 

Other Terms and Conditions: 

•       A 50% deposit fee is required to secure your booking. Dates/ trip will be booked and blocked once deposit is received.

•       The remaining balance of 50% payment and any other miscellaneous cost must be paid 30 days prior to departure date.

•       It is compulsory for all guests to purchase their own travel insurance during the entire fishing period with DMC Fishing.

•       DMC Fishing can assist guests with the purchase of travel insurance upon request. Cost will be billed together with their final payment.

•      It is DMC Fishing company policy requirement that guests who make their own travel insurance coverage must submit a proof of coverage to DMC Fishing at least 1 week           prior to departure date, with the policy covering the entire period.  Otherwise, DMC Fishing reserves the right to invalidate the entire booking and any prior payments will be         forfeited without replacement. 

•    All guests will be required to complete and agree to the DMC Fishing standard terms & conditions at the time of booking.

•        All guests are responsible for their own personal valuables and belongings throughout the trip. DMC Fishing will not be responsible for any loss or damages as a result.

•       There will be strictly no refund for any deposits/payment in any case of a cancellation or no-show.

•        DMC Fishing reserves the right to change any of the terms and condition above without prior notice.
